Big Sur: sea haze and Bixby Bridge

Well, the much anticipated drive down Highway 1 through Big Sur was largely thwarted by persistent sea haze.

So, starting out from Carmel, first stop was the very often photographed Bixby Bridge. Unfortunately, the sea haze was thick and the traffic thicker. I did what I could do and we moved on. Unfortunately, the conditions didn't improve during the day so it was on to Cambria.
